  Births, Marriages & Deaths From The Lehighton Press, 1896-1897 Volume 11, Number 14, Friday, July 23, 1897 All Around The Town. The funeral of Carrie, the 17 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Hontz, North Fourth street, took place at two o'clock on Tuesday afternoon. Services were held in the Reformed church and were largely attended. Rev. J. Alvin Reber officiated. Deceased was ill but a few days with heart trouble.
