  Obituary from Allentown Morning Call January 7, 1901 Sarah, widow of Joseph M. Roberts, died on Saturday morning at the home of her son, Horace W. Roberts, No. 951 Gordon Street. She was aged 59 years, 1 month and 22 days. She was also the mother of Mrs. M. H. Knauss of 140 South Eighth Street. Her husband fell over dead several years ago while station agent of the Allentown Terminal Railroad at Gordon Street. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon with interment in St. Mark's Cemetery. Besides the children named above, there survive Mrs. Thomas Kramer, Walter E., Mrs. Schoenberger and Orville. Deceased was a daughter of Thomas Walck of Weissport. Death resulted from a complications of diseases after an illness of sixteen and a half weeks. ROBERTS In this city, Jan. 5, Sarah, widow of J. M. Roberts, aged 59 years, 1 month and 22 days. Funeral Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the residence of her son-in-law, M. H. Knauss, No 140 South Eighth Street. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited without further notice. Services at the house. Interment St. Mark's Cemetery, South Allentown.
