  Donna L. Goerlitz Donna L. Goerlitz, 66, of Forest Inn Road, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Credar Crest. She was the wife of Carl F. Goerlitz since July 31, 1965. Donna worked as a dietary aide for the Palmerton Hospital. Previously, she was a machine operator for various garment mills in the Palmerton area. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Edith (Melber) Gable. She was a member of Faith Alive United Methodist Church, Palmerton.She was a 1965 graduate of Plainfield High School, in New Jersey. Donna enjoyed caring for her pets, her flower garden, reading her Bible and novels. She enjoyed going on road trips, and watching her sitcoms on television. Surviving with her husband are daughters Lorene M. and Linette A., both of Palmerton; seven grandchildren, Christie, Amanda, Matthew, Brandon, Garrett, Samuell, and Skylar; and a brother, Earl Gable in New Jersey. She was preceded in death by a son, Carl L. in May of 2013. Services: Memorial services at 3 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014, at the Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, with the Rev.
