  Obituary in THE CHRONICLE, Augusta, GA, 4 Oct 2005: Langley, S.C. - Entered into rest Sunday, October 2, 2005, Mrs. Mary Irene Williams Poole of Langley, beloved wife of Leander (L.W.) Poole and daughter of the late James Talbert Williams and the late Lizzie Mae Loftis Morris. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Peggy P. Moyer of Gloverville; two sons, James C. Poole of Virginia Beach, VA and Thomas Lee (Timmy) Poole of Langley; two brothers, James Robert Williams of San Antonio, Texas and Leroy Williams of Burnettown, SC; two sisters, Bonnie Merchant of Clayton, Ala. and Helen Spears of Augusta, GA and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ray W. Williams. She was born in Elberton, GA but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pauline Gospel Church in Augusta. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Theinterment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens in Langley, SC.
